dear all,

i am also from vietnam but in hanoi. i just bought i30 not extreme but one model below it (i think) for my wife and found the manual in korean.

instead of scanning the whole manual, why not just do a important features scan or write up (how to use)? some information are rather standard and only those special feature cruise control or electronic device/programming is what we need.

i hope my request is more easier for owners like us in vietnam. i am from singapore by the way :)

hcm77han, what extra features you have with extreme? i need to compare so that i know what is mine :grin:

Nobody's saying anyone scanned the manual, just that we came across one for hcm77han :whistling:

Anyway, if there's anything we can help you with just ask specific questions, we might be able to assist. I'm sure there won't be a great deal of difference between the electronic/device programming between our various models.

the problem is vnese i30 model mainly from korea and there isnt any hyundai distributors to sell sedan car yet so many info is unknown to buyer since most vnese buyer do not research before buying. as long as eye pleasing - BUY!

i asked numbers of par. import sales person and they just read out info from their boss and further questions - they say no have or dont knoow! ask about diesel - 'where got?' lol...

and for us, we cannot differential those version available and most likely got conned and nothing we can do. i hope this situation will be corrected in near future and hopefully vnese par. importer will import diesel CRDi version for diesel lovers like me and please... in manual not automatic!! yeah!

i am sure many vnese bought the car still dont how to use many functions or features.

Dear Python,

Sorry for my late reply because i've just came from mission in Hochiminh City. I'm living also in Hanoi.

For your question about the extra specs between my I30 EXTREME and your I30 (I think your i30 is PREMIER version, there are only some extra option like sides & curtain airbag , Rain sensor, ECM room miroir, anti-violet front glass, 6 pieces indash CDC&lamp, VDC.

I've receive a file pdf of manual user for I30 CRDI sent by Shambles in English. If you need it, pls let's me know your adress e-mail and I will send to you.

For the Blutooth in the car, I think i's not working in our car!

ha.. great! another english speaker in hanoi - esp in automobile section!! i have 8 airbags, 6cd changer, automatic rain/head & rear mirror light sensors, vdc but i dont think my glass is solar treated. how much did you bought your i30? the price will be the best indicator for which model :D

i think the call feature has to do with cable and not by BT. I just found my nokia e61 cable and will try it out soon!! i will post more on the new forum of darryl & his web team.
