Hi hcm77han,

I have a user manual for the CRDI (diesel) 1.6, but I cannot send it to you because then I wouldn't have one!

Is there something in particular you're looking for, or need to know?

I'm sure these manuals will appear in English on the intermiweb soon.

Hi There,

I just did a bit of a search on the net can't see a downloadable version of the Manual (PDF) on there anywhere. You could try going to the Hyundai Australia or UK sites and sending them an email (they may be able to help) It's a bit big to scan and email!!!

In the meantime I assume a lot of features are common to most markets so if you have something in particular you are having problems using ask here and between us we'll get you through.

Regards,

Dazz

Hi Shambles and Darry,

Thanks for your soon reply!

I've seeked many times in the Hyundai website in UK and also AUS but I never foud the User Manual of I30. There is only the brochure but not User Manual! What a pity.

I think I30 petrol user's manual is maybe similar to I30 crdi. If you have it pls send me. Tks so much.
Best regards,

HCM

Hi there, we like to help you here but as Shambles mentioned in his post, each car has only ONE manual book, so we really can't send you ours. I don't think the 1.6 diesel would be the same as the petrol one, especially yours is the Korean model. Good luck.

That's a fair call, John.

I emailed my dealer asking for a contact point so I could help out our new friend. Said I'd *lost* my manual and was *lost* without it.

If they come up with the goods I don't know what the postage to Vietnam would be.

I'll wait and see. I don't hold out much hope, though, given the kerfaffle with the spare remote keyfob.

Hi hcm77han, (hope I spelled your name right!)

There definately isn't a downloadable Owners manual (in english) available that I can see. But if you email either or both the UK and Australian sites and explain your dilemma i'm sure they would help you (even if they charge you postage for a hard copy)

Try going to the appropriate "contact us" link and type in much the same as what you told us at the start of this thread...

Good Luck,

Darryl

It would appear that as each owners manual is shipped with the chassis (final build) documentation pack, that I would have to purchase a replacement, which might have to be received from Korea. I don't trust my dealer 100%, given what they said about a second remote keyfob, but it does sound realistic. The document has a reference of A2LO-UK77B for the RHD i30.

However, all is not lost.

hcm77han:

Send an email to hmv@hyundaimotor.com.vn explaining that your documentation was missing when you took delivery of the import.

If you get no joy, write to them at this address:

Room No 402, Viglacera Tower,
No 1 Lang-Hoa Lac road,
Tu Liem district,
Hanoi,
Vietnam

Or call them at +84-4-5537288

Good luck.

One final offer hcm...

If you get really desperate, I am prepared to scan in every single page of my owners manual and host the results for you for you to download at your leisure.

Try the options in the above post first (which I gleaned from a Vietnam forum (I think)) then let me know. It'll take some time but I can do this for you.

Once again, the best of luck.

Hi HCM and Shambles,

Here's 2 pages that don't need scanning (the ones about the oil to use which I scanned for Lakes the other day.)

Cheers,

Dazz

If everyone scanned in 10 pages and posted them on the net that would help Shambles and HCM (but don't think that's gonna happen). If it comes to that I would be prepared to do 20 or 30 pages Shambles and turn them into a PDF (provided i'm not breaking any copyright laws)

Not sure about copyright laws, but then again I've never bothered that much TBH. I'm ok scanning in the whole guide, but I think our Vietnam friend might want a flick-thru guide (as in the original manual).

Let's wait and see what he says.

Hi Shambles,

It's very nice to receive your reply! I have contact with Hyundai Motor Vietnam but they said that they have not I30 user manual because the I30 car is not yet imported by HMV.
So pls send me your I30 User manual after scanning. Once again, thank a lot!

With my best regards,

HCM

Ok. I'll start on it tonight when I return from work. Might take a few days. I'll convert it to a PDF when it's done.
