I dont have a Tiburon, I currently drive a 06 Sonata, but Im lookin to get one. They are very nice lookin cars, but i dont know too much about them. So if there is anything anyone could post, it'd be much appreciated.

I would like the specs on the 2007+ Tiburon with the 6-speed.

A V6 Tiburon 6-speed should be an equal match for your Sonata if you are good at driving a manual.

I presonally think the 2005-06 were th best looking Tibs but the 2007-up Tibs have a slightly nicer interior. I didn't really like the looks of 2007-up facelift but it's growing on me. Good luck either way.

Check out road and track.com for specs---they did an article on the 2007 se-the tib is slower than a v6 sonata but a lot more fun to drive! They got 0-60 7.2, and quearter mile 15.4 at 90.4 bone stock! I love mine and get 27mpg mixed driving all the time.

Those times were from a journalist/driver , there won't be much variation from their test times and the average driver for an automatic equipped car . However much better times are being achieved on manual shift Tibs by aggressive owners with dragstrip experience .

Again, the Tib V6 is not slower than the Sonata V6. They are an even match.

Sonata = 15.5 @ 92-mph (Car & Driver)
Tiburon = 15.4 @ 90.4-mph (Road & Track)

I wouldn't race one 0-60---the sonata is faster 0-60---6.6 tib 7.2

That's not correct. The lighter Tib is a quicker accelerator but the more powerful Sonata catches up by the end of the 1/4 miles and then passes the Tib. Look at the times listed. The Tib hets to the end a tenth quicker but the Sonata is 2 mph faster. That's because the heavier Sonata has more horsepower and a higher top speed.
