I know that the issue of only one remote key is a sore point with i30 owners. In the months waiting for ouri30, I became obsessed with finding things on eBay which I could buy for the to-be new car.

I found a unique key available from the UK for just over $AU17 including postage. I had to have one, so went through with the purchase. The are still selling at the same price.

I was really pleased with my purchase when it arrived.

Then, on the day of taking delivery, the sales woman presented us with a keyring she received at the Adelaide launch of the i30. So now we have one for the remote key (UK version) and one for the spare key (the i-key) below.

Got out of bed early (early for me as I'm on hols.) to check the forum for new posts. Knew that Shambles would have posted something overnight from the UK.

Last night I was dazzled by Dazzers flashing avatar, then saw Dave's avatar and thought to myself, "What's going on here?".

I was amused by the sunnies, Shambles - we'll all need a pair soon.

Now buddyforu tells us he has a flashing keyring. Buddyforu, at least your flashing is carbon neutral.

With all this flashing going on we'll have the Internet police watching our every move.

I'm going to play golf today to get away from all this FLASHING!

Dave

I also keep my raincoat buttoned up. You have to here in God's rain-drain. Anyway, I have my tube of Smarties for further protection.

Nice to see some personalities evolving with the avatar selections.

Hey John [Lakes]. Your avatar is blank. You trying to say something? :bwekk:

Hey Shambles, i'll have to look into it m8.
will have to locate a Balmain Tigers Logo, or a Sydney Swans, think i should use the Swans logo as that's Aussie Rules Football and most of our Crew here are from Aussie Rules state's.
How do you go about doing it?
Cheers m8 John
