Yes montego its still in its 5 yr warrenty as its a motability vehicle , just a bit woried thoughas its the 2nd time this will be done , and i was thinking of buying the car in january next yr when the 3 yr lease is up.

I have no idea as motability have change the way that they do the final asstment of the car and vaule , mine has scratched front bumper and dents in the passenger rear door through the high winds of last yr.

Its got 21000 miles on it and has been serviced from a hyundai dealer from new , I guess it will be around 8,000 to5999 pounds .

Any ideas on this

if you are still under the motability scheme l think it may well pay you to get a new vehicle, but of course l don't know what you personal circumstances are

just got back from hyundai and the feckin steering wheel is off centre again so now have to goto kwik fit and have it done ,
Problem with suspension strut was that water got into it and they said it failed , but on the way home , i could have sworn i heard it again , so will wait till later when i pick kids up later and listen .

Why do you have to go to kwik fit get the garage to do it they have had the car in for repair and it should be done to an acceptable standard

Well Had the car back for around about an hr and guess what !
yes you got it the noise was still there , a grinding noise anyway phoned motability and they said get the RAC out and if its not safe they will sort it by taking it to the dealer and give me a repalcment .
Anyway rac cant pinpoint the noise but thinks a spring or something has gone so he sys goback to the dealer and see if they can deal with it .

Now sice the dealer dont have any facilites to re align tyres or tracking I have to goto Kwik Fit .

Yours fed up

l can't believe that your dealer has not got the equipment to align the front wheels (tracking) what sort of an outfit are you dealing with here? and then they expect you to pay to get it done elsewhere? time to find another dealer

Hi
The dealer is in stockport , and is just called "hyundai " , I asked if they could pick my car up and then drop it off but was told that they didnt have enough people to spare so no go .

Then asked could they get me a loan car and nope they cant as they havent any automatic's , so now until i find out how long its going to be in the garage i cant get motability to hire me a car .

Heres the reply from Hyundai Uk
Dear Mr Palmer Thank you for your email which has been forwarded for my attention. I was sorry to learn of your dissatisfaction with the service you feel youhave received from Hatfields in Stockport. I was very surprised to readyour comments as the feedback we have previously received regardingHatfields has always been extremely positive. I appreciate the concerns you have regarding the provision of a courtesycar whilst your vehicle is being repaired, however courtesy vehicles forwarranty repairs are provided by our Authorised Repairer network as agesture of goodwill, subject to availability. There is no automatic entitlement to a replacement vehicle and it is theHyundai Authorised Repairers own business policy which dictates when theyare available. Hyundai Motor (UK) Ltd, 5 year warranty does not incorporatea courtesy/hire vehicle when warranty repairs are being completed. Thisalso applied to collection and delivery services, it is solely a repairersown choice as to whether they offer this service or not. If you remain dissatisfied with Hatfields, may I suggest you contact adifferent local Hyundai Repairer. Well got the car back after having new front suspension struts both sides , new brakes front and back and new front suspension , all within the first 3 yrs of its life and with only having 21,500 miles on the clock with all the stamps on the service book.

This has put a real damper on this car as i no longer have any faith in the car nor in hyundai dealers in stockport and hyundai uk, so in january when it goes back thats me finish with hyundai .
I know that as my new scooter is a lot bigger than the one i have now .

Thanks to all the people who have helped me with topics on here and to cap it all they have asked me if i want to buy the car for £5000 pounds , for a 3 yr car with only 21,500 miles.
