I still cannot believe how easy you guys have it "daarn unda".

My fillup last Sunday was priced at £1.19/L which in your money is about $2.63/L

Ours seems to rise by 1p/L every 3 days

Lucky we don't live in NZ where you have to pay for every 1000kms you drive
and get you car checked every 6 months for road worthiness. At least their Diesel
is a lot cheaper than ours $1.25

Dave & dazz, thanks for your reply, dave i don't think it would be a good idea to use biodiesel in the crdi i30 as they use that partical filter, i don't think these diesl tuning Chips or plug in overide units would be a good idea eather as they cause them to blow more smoke and that could eventually clog the partical filter, but just what i think.
think i'll use BP Diesel all the time with mine and keep all recepts and a log book on it.

PS i tried to register in your owners group forum and i stuffed up somewhere, thats why i have not been in.
John

Re Biodiesel Use

If you check the users manual, you will read that biodiesel is OK to use, provided it meets the specification outlined. The ratios are mentioned in the manual.

Can't remember them and it's dark outside and I cant be S T U F F E D going out to look right now.

Bob how do you know the Biodiesel meets the standards, maybe Dave can find out what
standards the bio he has meet? but if you use it and have a problem will the company that produce the biodiesel cover you if Hyundai don't? i've seen BP stand by there product, if you prove you only used that.

Hey Dazz i got Ford, Holden ,2 Harley's, Hyundai. under the house m8 :)
Cheers

there is no need to re register & all old posts have been migrated.
