QUOTE(I30 Dave @ Apr 16 2008, 07:36 PM)
Hi all

I've printed out the sticker design on glossy paper to see
how it looks. The i30 logo doesn't looks quite as blurry
as i thought it would. Just waiting to hear back from Hyundai
before we go ahead and get them printed.

What will you be getting printed exactly??

Cheers,
Jess

Hi Jess

Stickers will be the main thing we will get printed. and if there is interest
later down the track we'll get some t-shirts printed for
i30 Owners Club members

(IMG:http://i241.photobucket.com/albums/ff273/ypadacars/sticker-1.png)

This is the design i'm looking at for the stickers. Unless others aren't happy
with it???

As for the flyers, i don't know whether it would be cheaper for you to print them out in bulk and send them to members in each state or for us to print them out ourselves at home. There isn't a lot of i30 drivers out there yet.

Dave

Hi Dave,

You're right! It's a payback for me picking on you for the car pix in the logo.

Added a bit of clip art as well to finish it off. what do you reckon.

Cheers,

Dazz

I was assuming interested owners could just print out half a dozen PDFs to put in their glove box for a (non) rainy day so to speak. Flyers would probably run if left on windscreen in the rain.

If they were really keen could give a few to local Hyundai dealer if he or her was enthusiastic about the idea. (I'll give my guys a try once Hyundai ok's our logo.)

Cool Dave.

Is that to stick on a bumper (with the black background) or more of a window sticker?

As I mentioned in a previous post I am able to make window stickers (like the hyndai-forums one, but a lot cheaper!) using one or two colours, and to any specification. Willing to send out an example to someone and perhaps they could apply it and take a few photos.

We used to print those bumper stickers however we found that even with the highest quality sticker paper, the design faded in the sun. It would be okay if you were parked under cover most of the time, otherwise I would make sure with the printer that there's some kind of guarantee of how long they last for!

Cheers

Hey Jess,

Me Me Me (Sorry getting a bit excited) I'll have one and take some photos....

P.S. Ive adjusted the flyer to Dave's exacting requirements and added my "seal of Approval" which I think sets it off....

Bye,

Dazz

Hi Dazz

I think we should highlight our website address somehow
or even put it above the pictures. Just so it doesn't get lost
amongst the rest.

Sorry Dave, you wouldn't happen to know which font is used for the i30 part would you? I just need to make it into a vector file and it's a LOT easier if I have the font for it.

cheers

Since i work in the fuel industry (manage a service station) i should hopefully
see quite a few i30's. I've seen 2 this week. I will print off some flyers and take
them to work with me. Both the i30's i saw were SX petrol.
