I'm not up to date with all the GPS's but i got a Garmin? a few months ago, and the shop had just about everything there it is a superstore, i told the salesman i just want something that is easy to read as i'm deaf so can't here the dirrections, also i told him the maps would need to be 2008 as we have had so many new motorways build here that one year old Sydney maps would be obsolete. he gave me 2008 maps. it has a 3D setting that makes it easy to read and follow, and while you are useing the map at anytime you can just touch the screen on the left and the trip info comes up, there is your speed in big digital numbers just like Dazz's one. but i only use the GPS in the bush as i know were i'm going around sydney. but like Tassie Dave i thought the i30 speedo was hard to read thats why i wanted cruise control, but when you turn the lights on the speedo in the i30 becomes easier to read. but to me all these GPS systems seem about the same, the best i have ever seen is the one that is in my cousins new Aston Martin it is built into the dash you touch a button and a panel comes out and this screen comes out the dash it is very large too easy to read lots of detail, but $300,000is too much for a GPS :) i wish the i30 had one in the dash as an option.
