Hi!

Always use pure synthetic & NEVER let the level fall below MAX on the dipstick!.

I always used 5W/40 in winter & 15W/50 Mobil I Motorsport Formula in summer......changing the oil & filter every 6000 miles.

Any quality synthetic would be my advice. Mobil1, Royal Purple, Lucas, Amsoil, ...

The cooler weather "requires" a thinner oil to start with. So that it doesn't get too think on start-up when it is cold out.

I used 10w30 in my scoupe when I had it.
