I recently purchased a 99 Tiburon and am having many problems trying to figure out how to take the dash apart. I finally figured out how to take the radio bezel and shifter area apart but now am trying to take out the entire dash to paint and install different gauges. I have all the screws out and it is loose but I can't seem to get my hand into the area to unplug all the things connecting the ac/heater unit. Does anyone know how to take this piece off or have any ideas that might help me?

to pull it completely off you need to go down by the gas pedal and unhook the wire for your heat control, it will be tucked up and it should be the only metal wire attached to something up there, if you cant find it e-mail me at Sk8board511@yahoo.com and i will send you pictures of what it looks like and help you with any other part of taking out the dash, i have done it many times
