Hi all - I am having some leak issues with my 07 Entourage. It is less than one year old and has 10,000 miles on it. Looks like it is transmission fluid and something else on the other side. How the heck can this happen on a new vehicle? Anyone else seeing this?

This is the second issue that I have had so far. The first one was the bad rotors at 400 miles. They had to be replaced and at 10,000 miles, the vibration is starting to come back. Anyone else have this issue?

I love the van, but these issues are makeing me nervous...

Some cars just have bad seals, take it in and B****.

Do you brake really hard? Can you feel the car's weight shift when you slow down? (not ragging on you, I used to stop like that )

Check your power steering fluid as well if the fluid is on the passenger side of the vehicle. Actually, check it no matter where the leak is, it could be the a hose or the rack. I got my van replaced because of chronic power steering leaks (although this doesn't seem to be a common problem in the entourage). You won't get any symptoms until the PS starts cutting out. It is easy to check the fluid, just pop the hood and look at the tank. The new van works great - I couldn't be happier with my purchase now.

My oil leaked the first day I got the van. They had to change the gasket twice to fix it. Check the oil pan under the van to see if it is covered with oil.

I have an 07 as well... and two of my friends also... Two of us have had the same brake problems and another of us had to have the powersteering pump replaced as it was leaking.... - started with a whining noise from the pump when you turned the wheels..
Cheers

Hey
Mine is in the shop right now for the same thing. They told me it was the seal on the transmission. They are replacing the entire transmission.... complete BS.

When I'm leadfooting I can overheat the brakes, they start fading and sound warped. When the brakes cool everything is normal again, mind you I'm stopping rapidly from 80MPH speeds. Brake pads will need servicing at 60K miles

Hello
Well we had the transmission replaced.. they said it was leaking.. however I told them the leak was black not reddish.. the shop said no it was transmission. (August 20/2008)

Anyways within a week I seen leaks again... took it in again and they told me the oil filter gasket was reused by my mechanic who did the oil change, and the filter was not seeded properly... so they re did it and assured me the fix. (September 2008).. they also say they have no record of us being there.

well today its in there again.. Nov 25/08 after my wife noticed a leak two weeks ago..... same problem.. now they say oh its a hose.... this is ridiculous.. I wish I could get my money back. I may write to head office soon if this continues.

Jim
