I had to work another store today. So I met a bunch of new people one guy is into cars and drifts. He asked me what I drove as we walk to the front to check out our cars. I told him a Hyundai Sonata. He gave that look like he was trying to be polite and not say anything bad. Just as we got into eye sight of my car he looks at me with the most dumbfounded look on his face and says "Thats a serious Hyundai man!" I found this vry funny. he then gave me props. Also challenged me to a race when I told him I race it. Needless to say his turbo'd 240 drift car dint win. Altho I doubt my car would do any winning in a drift contest. LOL Here are some new pix enjoy!

Nice pics, but a tip if I may.
Try to avoid having posts and poles directly behind the car when taking pics.

Looks good otherwise :)

I love the car.

And no one gives me more **** about driving a Hyundai than my two friends that drive DSMs. Both will probably hit 11 in the quarter mile this year, so they don't understand the concept of having a sedan. Every time I mod it, they try to convince me to get a DSM, since 'I'll never be fast!' :)

I was racing my friends stock s2000 and he beat me. He was suprised though when we were at the stoplight and we floored it and my tires smoked. His S2000 is pretty fast and its stick so that helps a bit too

Speaking of Az, a person we know just put a deposit on a house down in Greenview? Twenty miles out of Tucson. It was $160, and he offered $130. Is this a good deal? I hope not, cause he's an arse! :whistling:

Racing a DSM is like swinging a hammer in a china shop.

The faster you go, the more things you break!!

S2000's are running low 14's stock with a good driver so give or take a second faster than the sonata.

You don't want to smoke the tires in a race, walk it out and then hit it, smoking the tires is a loss of traction.

I only did it because I knew that we had to slow down to get onto US-19 in about 1/8 of a mile
