Hi,

Hoping someone may be able to help as I am going mad with this problem.
Basically I have an automatic atoz (98 model) less that 35000 miles on the clock, I can have my foot to the floor and it struggles. This is especially bad going up hills, which i can understand but its at the point now if a hill is coming I have to pull behind a lorry and i'm even struggling to keep up with them.

Air filter has been changed, sparks have been changed, timing and cam have been done too and checked all fulids etc.
The places I've taken it to don't seem to know what it is.

Does anyone else have any ideas or experience to suggest what I need to get checked?
Its getting progressivly worse and I'm so reliant on it at the mo

Please help!!

I have a different problem on my 98 Atos, which is hesitation during acceleration, I read about on this forum that it could be the air flow sensor of the fuel injection system that needs cleaning, problem is I don`t know where its located, so if anybody know please let me know, as regards your problem, could it be that you have clogged injectors that need cleaning, have you checked the fuel line maybe its clogged or restricted at some point and not enough fuel is getting to the engine, also have you got checked the fuel injection system and ecu (eletronic part) that are working properly etc, guess its a Hyundai dealer kind of role to check these but these are just guesses but maybe could help.....
Cheers, Al

Check the bottom cambelt pulley to see if it moves on the crank or is damaged.
Make sure the auto fluid is topped up.

Then its a case of looking at the MAP Sensor/TPS Sensor/Is the exhaust partial blocked.
