After spending a good hour with my dad today, we eventually got the CD player out of my recently acquired (2 days ago) 02 accent. Later as i was just about to go out, i went to attach the clips off the hyundai cd player to the pioneer unit, and realised they didnt fit. Fair enough.

My question is, my new pioneer unit came with a bracket. Will that go inside the hyundai bracket in my dash, or will i have to spend hours tearing out the center console to take out the old bracket?

I really hope its the simple first option. I couldnt seem to get the center part of the dash out today. Any help about the bracket or center dash removal would be great. Thanks

Nevermind, I got it. The Pionner bracket seemed to be the same width as the stock one that it in there. We ended up cutting out the top panel of the bracket and moving the folds on the sides in a bit closer so it would fit. Its jammed in there tight!
