Thanks Z! Heehee, you must be a player if you know how sweet that down the line shot is  .

I've seen your photos and your car looks hot and unique with some nice touches like the badges and the mats. I think the S380 badge lends and air of mystique to the car. I'm thinking about getting the TG badges. I really am enjoying this car in spite of the noisy suspension. But I think the quiet interior makes up for the suspension noise.

I would advise against the TG badges. I bought them and put them on my car a little less than a year ago and they looked great when I first got them on there. Now they are starting to blister and really look kinda crappy. The black baground has faded out and you can't really make out the TG in the sunlight anymore unless you're right up on it.

I've been looking at other badges and contemplated putting the H back on. What I would love is if Hyundai made a factory H badge in other colors like say black-chrome for example. I'd totally rock that on my black car.

Some of these painting/plating places can do remarkable things nowadays. Might not hurt to take your OEM badge to them and see what could come up with. Your black/chrome idea sounds like it would really look good on your black Azzie. Pursue it!

I'm glad you posted this. I was seriously thinking of getting the TG badges. Thanks for the insight!

Yeah..it's too bad Hyundai doesn't offer the black chrome badges as an accessory option like other auto mfgs do. I might look into that painting idea tho.

I'll try to take a picture this week of my TG badge so you can see what happened to it.

Campoly, I use Freeman's on airport freeway in Irving, took my daughter's Mazda to them years ago, thought I got good treatment. Went back for the Azzy, looked at 3 different dealers, thought these guys were the best with the best price. Have not had any problems with them in my 4 occasions to visit with them. We can probably discuss more via email if interested.

I used them to replace my shocks per the TSB. They have one of the cleanest and best looking shop I've ever seen. But.........I'm not exactly smitten with them. Check out my post #16 "chapter 2" in the "Factory Tsb-azera Shocks Replacement" thread for an indepth account of my experience with them. I'd be happy to discuss via PM.

I'd love to see the pictures of the badge. Let us know what you find out about the painting idea if you check it out.
