$9,995 Hyundai Accent now on sale nationwide
Markham, Ontario – Following its sole launch in Quebec as a pilot project, the Hyundai Accent will now be available across the country at a starting price of $9,995, effective immediately.
“The 25th Anniversary pricing that we announced on the Accent in Quebec has had a lot of traction,” said John Vernile, vice president, sales and marketing, Hyundai Auto Canada Corp. “Dealership traffic has increased almost 60 per cent in Quebec. In fact, the response even outside of Quebec has been so positive that we simply had to add the $9,995 Accent to our list of anniversary-priced vehicles for the rest of Canada.”
In celebration of 25 years of selling cars in Canada, Hyundai has slashed the cash purchase price on four of its popular 2008 models. Base prices are now $9,995 on the Accent hatchback and sedan; $18,995 for the Sonata; $15,995 on the Tiburon; and $16,995 on the Tucson L.
“The anniversary-priced Accent is making such an impact that we have arranged with the plant in Ulsan to build more Accents for Canada,” Vernile said. “With many of our vehicles receiving awards and five vehicles under $20,000, we’re offering Canadians a lot of reasons to visit a Hyundai dealership.”"
