I am needing a new ECU for my excel and I can't find any at the local junk yards and if I go to the store they wont almost 400bucks for one. I wanted to know is, is the ECU for my car interchangeable with any other car? its a 4sp and I was getting really awesome MPG and would love to get back on the road! Thanks in advance!

HELLO
there is a GREAt ECu rebuild place in west palm, florida..I can send you the address if you contact me and I find it..they rebuild for aroound $100 and after they did mine , my EXCEL is still running fine 3 years later...they are very well known here in Florida
drop me a message or reply on here..problem is these ECu failed in alot of Excels..I am not sure what make and model you have..but heat problems caused the capacitors on the ECU (computer board to melt, especially if you live in a warm climate area). if you disconnect the car battery and carefully remove the ECU and it top, you'll see the little BLUE colored capacitors(batteries) melted..these can be fixed at this rebuilt shop..these people are awesome!
LET ME KNOW!
