I own an 03 Sonata and I'm trying to find out if they made the steering wheels rubber at all. Mine is that smooth leather which has no grip...unless I have lotion on my hands...ha.
Are there other Hyundai models that are interchangable with the Sonata that may have the rubber wheels? I'd also like to keep the cruise control buttons.

go to an auto parts store and get a steering wheel cover that is grippy.

that would be a lot less hassle and cheaper than going out and buying and then replacing another wheel.

i thought about doing that...but all the ones i see at the stores are a bit tacky to me. no offense for anyone with them, they just aren't my thing. i like to mess around with car stuff anyway, so it wouldn't be to much of a hassle.
