Hi to all i'm new around, i bought a scoupe mkII 93' 1.5 12v non turbo, one week ago, it's not in driving condition right now, but as my projcet it will be :)
will post pics as the project will go along...

... first i had really hard time in fidning parts for it, i needed both front lights, the blinkers but i manage to find them all, i needed also front and rear bumper, i managed to find only rear bumper from MK1 and it fits, and i also need a hood...
new parts are extremely expenceive ... so will continue with my search for the front bumper and hood... i was thinking if i cant find, can i adjust a lantra bumper on the scoupe, with modification cuting extenditg etc...

the temperature meter doesnt work, is it a comon problem or i have some cable disconnected?
now about the engine... the car wasnt driven for some time, i changed the plugs cables, and still not working fine, when i start it it works ok in place when i try to give it a little gas it whants to shut down, and after some time it starts to smoke, but not oil, it smokes like unburned gasoline....
where should i look for the problem? ingnition, timing?

Regards Kiril

If you were in the USA, I would be able to help you out as far as the headlights, bumpers, ect. Also, you will probably need to replace the coolant temperature sensor and sender for that temp gauge/meter to work correctly.

Here is a link of how to do it:
http://www.hyundai-forums.com/index.php?sh...ant+temperature
(Ignore the first post, I was stupid then...)

Let me know if I can help. PMing me is the best way. There are a lot of very scoupe knowledgeable people on this forum. Sometimes they are a little slow to reply, but they will help you. :)

Also you said you changed the plug cables. Try actually replacing the plugs as well. It can't hurt. Other than that, I don't know what to do. I'm not much of a mechanic. (I believe once I read somewhere that replacing those temp sensors can cure a certain smoke problem... so replace those first. )

I never had a noise coming from mine...
Just curious, is your's a 5-speed or an automatic?
And yeah, any bumper CAN fit with modification. Although apparently an Impreza bumper will fit rather easily. (I wish I had an Impreza bumper... :P)
