Hi. I have an 04 Elantra GLS that the dealer said has a bad wrist pin, and they are going to put a new motor in. Does anyone know if puting in a new motor effects the title of the car at all (ie makes it a salvaged title?)?
Also is there anything else I should be aware of in this situation? I'm just a little worried because I just bought the car used about 3 weeks ago. Thanks for any help.

You should check the laws in your state as it should tell you something about the effects on a title. I highly doubt that replacing the engine would be grounds to brand a salvage title on a vehicle.
