I have a 2005 Tucson with 15,000 miles on the clock. Last October the battery was completely dead. I had it towed in and the dealer said "battery failed load test. Replaced battery and checked charging system".

Worked great until March 14th, then completely dead again. Dealer kept car for several days then said radio was causing the problem. They are in the process of getting a new radio that they say will eliminate the problem.

Also have problems with internmittent failure of the keyless entry system. Still no dealer response on that problem.

Other than these problems, it's been a great little car.

I think I can confirm the radio drain problem. I had a few instances of the battery being dead when the car was left unused for a few days. Dealership was clueless until I had it towed in because I could not even start it with a jump. Then they found a service bulletin. Replaced radio for free and problem is solved.
