Hey guys i have been reading these forums for about a month and i have finally decided to sign up and tell you about the project that my friend and i have been brewing. Also, noone seems to reply in the other excel forum :(

I have decided to do an engine swap on my little Excel
Just wondering if it was possible.
I have been doing some research and looking around at other cars
I found a 2002 lancer gli 1.8 at the wreckers for $1800, they said they just want to get rid of it, it is in in perfect condition.
I also rang my local engineer and he said it is very possible and it would still be street legal
The engine mounts are pretty much exactly the same
Please give your thoughts!
