ya so you can pick one up at the hyundai dealer for around $450 right. Or go My route and pick one up off ebay. got my for $30 shipped. and it works great. mines a 2003 but it will still work on ur '07. u just have to take ur bigg plastic thing off ur engine.

Heres a pic

the engine will run fine, probably even better when done like that. it will even run with no intake pipe attached at all, provided the throttle and plenum are still attached.

are you after an original/stock one? or performance/aftermarket? just a performance stock replacement air filter from K&N will make a difference too.

Yeah, i am after a aftermarket/performance intake. I dont know about the idea of attaching a 03 intake on a 07 tho. Looks like some items might be in the way..

performance intakes are usually pretty generic, it should fit. nothing is ever really "bolt on" so there might be some fiddling involved. you can always make your own like mine, its pretty effective and doesnt look out of place.

I second that, just waht jbix11 said. I just purchased mine off of e-bay, very cost effective, you are going to get the same results. I saw a nice one with a K&N filter that would suit your car. Just be sure all the attachments are listed on the auction, you may need to buy some extra parts as I have. But seriously E-BAY is the way to go!!!

Take care,

Juan

I purchased the one for the 03 accent off ebay also, and it does work very well, you just have to take out the stock air box, and its good because if you want to upgrade it more you can take off the filter they send you and use a K&N

I have an 07 GLS and i promise it will work, you just have to rearrange some things

The aem intake system is a very nice set-up and is direct bolt on. It comes with a heat shield and mounting for the ecu since the ecu on the 07s mounts to the stock air box. If you remove the air box bottom you have a dangling ecu-not good. You can also buy the weapon R secret weapon intake. ive heard decent things about it but its not as nice as the aem and it doesnt come with the heat sheild/ecu mounting so youd have to fab something up to mount the ecu. about those ebay ones as long as it has a opening for the vac lines it should work but again you will either have to leave the bottom half of the air box in( which is doable) or make a bracket.

I just bought a 08 gls and I am looking for an air intake too. How much does the aem one cost.
