Hi.
I have de following problem with my Santa Fe 2.4 2003. Sometimes i feel that the santafe is hold, y push the gas and i can feel that something is wrong. But there is another day that run normaly. I replaced the air flow sensor, just to see if this will improved, but nothing change. When i try to go up in the hills it's felt that something is holding the car. Can someone have any clue?

Since Puerta Rico is a salt environment ( you are surrounded by salt water), I recommend that you have your brakes checked. If you have a partly frozen caliper from rust, this would feel like the car is being held back. The brakes are not fully releasing.

but i already change my pads and checked the break system like a month ago and i still have the problem...

Jose,

Did you verify that the brake caliper pistons move freely back and forth? If yes, then we need more symptoms to diagnose the problem.

Is the engine accelerating normally...this is evidenced by the tachometer and your foot feel? If yes, then

Is the transmission shifting normally? If yes, then

Are you noticing any unusual noises? If no, then

Have you changed your air filter? If yes, then

Have you changed your fuel filter? If yes, then

Have you had your fuel injectors professionally cleaned?
