Hi everybody;

I'm new here and possessor of an i30 CRDi 115 GLS. I apologize for my English minimalist but I'm French.
I followed the subject and it seems to me that I have a similar problem.

Since yesterday my i30 seems to have some hésitations at 100/110 km / h (at home not in mph) 2100/2200 RPM. A slight break in the acceleration that does not last but that is repeated.

I would like to know if your i30 had the same symptoms before replacing the fuel filter.

Thank you in advance

Johann

Hi Everyone,

I just joined this forum.

Four cases in Australia of the no-go over 3000 RPM problem? Make that 5 cases!

I lent my car to a friend who drove it 400 km 'down south'. Going down was OK, but it took him all day to get back!

Not only did the car not go over 3000 RPM - about 80 km/hr, but whenever he tried, the engine would stop and he'd have to wait 10 minutes before it would restart.

At least today it's not stopping, it just gets to 3000 RPM and that's it. I'll phone the Hyundai people on Monday morning....

Susan

If you go to this site - i30 Owners Club - which was set up in OZ this problem has been identified by a few Oz members. I think from memory it requires a new fuel filter assembly. Do a search and you will find the full prognosis.

Hi Everyone,

I phoned the local Hyundai dealer today about my i30's problem, and the response was 'Eh? never heard of that before.'
