Howdy! So, this winter I was driving my tibby around and got hungry. I decided to go to mcdonalds drive-thru (god forgive me for food in my car!) My window rolled down, then made quite the noise, sorty strainy, metal tearing noise, and my window fell all the way down and the switch wouldn't work. I took my door apart to figure out the problem and it turned out that the wire that runs through all the pulleys had somehow come untwisted and wrapped itself around the wheel directly attached to the motor. so, after several hours laying on my driveway trying to force the wire back in to place, I gave up and propped the window up with a two-foot peice of 2x4 and some twisty-ties. Anyway, is this like, a common problem? And how much do you think it would be to fix it?
