Well... it does have a tendency to frost on the INSIDE of the windshield, but other than that I was shocked at how well it worked.

Yeah, you can get bottles of Jollop to stop that happening...... Just wipes off with a cloth, works on the outside too.

You must be part Polar Bear living out there Eh :D

That drain valve you showed is pretty sweet. might have to buy one of those.I know fram or someone came out with something like that called sure-drain but it was a stupid design and could easily go to open.

I believe Fram made one ..... & "Shock Horror" they did it badly :whistling:

You can wrap a wire tie around them if ya do feel "ever so concerned"

(IMG:http://i67.photobucket.com/albums/h305/MMMJ/brakes2012.jpg)

I got all carried away with my 1st installation, adding a drainage pipe & everything, but thats just me ...... & no that Isn't a Hyundai :bwekk:

The above picture scares the crap out of me. I guess you haven't even had a car fire huh. This is the most dangerous thing I have ever saw. If cars where made to have these drains they would. I wouldn't put oil lines hanging (much less around exhaust) on anything.

Don't be such a drama queen ....... Its a goodly way away from the exhaust, its just the angle its taken from..... As far as cars being made to have drains ....... Its all to do with budgetary constraints ..... You really do need to take a brake mate..... Its a valve, you might not like it ..... But at the end of the day its a valve

Agreed, nothing is going to catch fire through braided steel tubing.

Surely that can't be the most dangerous thing you ever saw, I personally saw a guy grab a spark plug wire that was shorting against the exhaust while the car was running, needless to say he got the crap shocked out of him.

That's a pretty neat setup you have there, must be convenient.

Well, I stopped by the dealer and had them remove some oil just for peace of mind and now the level is sitting just shy of the actual "F" on the dipstick when cold, and a maybe a 1-2mm above the letter "F" when hot.

lazy tech... pff when i change oil they dont let u waste 5 mins turning the car on and then rechecking everything... my shop wants me to do this- in 15 mins- CHECK all lights-wipers-tires-tire tread-tire pressure-under- car- all suspension all brakes all fuel lines- brakelines- lube chassis look for leaks- drain oil and change filter-look at seals. Engine-check all fluids filters- including the cabin.... hoses belts pcv valve all leaks intake- valve cover- look for brake reservior low- top off all fluids - put the oil in the car- then make a sticker with milage and bla bla- wipe down car then pull it out and at the same time writing down anything i see or HAVE done on the car -ex.Check tire pressure- YES check mark. theres more 2 but i cant remember
