As long as the rest of the door panel is off, the door handle shouldn't be too hard. The crank/lever for the window is by far the hardest part. (just to make sure, I have a 98 Accent GL. Anyone, there are two ways to get the door panel off the door handle. One, unscrew the door handle, and turn it a little sideways to get it past the hole in the door panel. Two, the door handle works rather simply... all it does is pull on a metal rod connected to the door latch, so there's part of the door handle that's a pin/clip (blue in my case) and fits into another plastic piece at the end of the metal rod. If you can just manage to push the clip out with a screwdriver or something, you can simply take the whole handle off along with the door panel.
Be careful though, as the handle has two clips at the back that go into the metal sheet of the door (they don't clip, but slide in), so after you unscrew or whatever, you have to push the handle towards the front of the car a little bit so that those come out of their slots.
I just made a whole post about removing the door panel and the handles... Once you get the panel off, (you'll have to rip the plastic sheet after, probably), you can unscrew the outside handle... there's two screws, one of which also locks the lock cylinder onto the handle. But theres a whole lot of other things holding the handle, so you might want to take the whole thing out along with the latch and interior handle, then work on it. Good luck!
