 Xg Forums Need Ur Help

OK I GOT MY CAR PUT AND THE **** CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON SAME CODE GOT TO CHECK FOR BUT ITS THE P0401 AND MY CAR IS SLUGGISH AT HALF PEDAL AND AT TIMES WHILE CRUSIN IT FEELS LIKE IT MISFIRES I DID READIND AND FOUND A BUNCH OF STUFF EGR MAF SENSOR ANY INFO PLEASE HELP NEES TO WHAT TO LOOK FOR AND IS GOING TO HURT MY CAR WHILE DRIVING IT LIKE THIS PLEASE PLEASE HELP

P0401 = Exhaust Gas Recirculation Flow Insufficient Detected

That could cause the symptoms you are seeing. I'd get that EGR looked at. It could be clogged, frozen or have a leak/break in the vacuum hose (or fallen off altogether).

hey nova well i did look at it i found a broken piece not sure what it is but i took pics but they wont upload or the ones i took of my car i can put them in a post but not in my gallery do u know why i try to get the pic up as soon as i can o and also when im crusin my car feels like it vibrating could this be part of the problem thanks

i think i have the same problem as this with my 2001 XG - can you tell me where to look for this EGR MAF.
