Hi Dazz,

It's Maximark here :) just took a different username in this forum. Yes, I was told that remote key would cost around $395, I din't realise that we also have to pay for the reprograme thing as Shambles mentioned in his post.Anyway,thanks all for your suggestions about the 2nd key.

I tried very hard already to get it but no luck. Initially, I emailed Hyundai HQ then called my hyundai dealer,the salesman told me it's better that I ring Hyundai HQ myself and I would have a better chance. So they gave me the Hyundai HQ number and I rang them :( I was told by the guy that even I 've bought the car for just 3 days he can't really do much to help, it's Hyundai policy. They just can't simply give back an extra key for every car that they sold. That's just too bad really. But what more can we do..?

You're a tricky devil... I lodged a couple of posts trying to get you over here but for some reason they "moderated" them (so i've been loosing sleep for nothing...)

If everyone supports Bobs survey RE: 2nd keys, I think we can get you a free second key... Don't buy one yet if you haven't already.

I'm happy now :grin: ...

The survey is mentioned by Bob as post #58 in Spare Remote Key earlier today or you can just send him a personal message...tjaliwalpa (think he bumped the keyoard...HeHe)

I noticed a Poll option on the "other" forum. Can we get i30Dave to set one up to poll the key issues. We can then begin to gather info which members can use to persue the 2nd key issue with dealers and Hyundai.

The only thing is I'm not sure the i30 Club is getting enough traffic to generate the response you want?

Between the two forums hopefully you'll get something to work with for the benefit of Hi30 and others...
