I am currently considering purchasing a New 2007 Azera Limited (Ebony Black & Tan Leather) and wanted to know what would be a good drive off price?
The dealership wanted $26,600
The deal also includes them paying off my 2006 Sonata GLS (4cyl) with 44k
which i owe 9700 (they were giving 9250)
Here is a link to the car info

http://redsbesthyundai.com/Vehicle.aspx?v=127569

I absolutely love the car inside and out.. to me it is so sleek, smooth, and luxurious
I just want to get the best deal possible... I was thinking maybe $25,000 would be a good deal?

That price seems kind of high especially since the 08's have been out for a while now. I would try to talk them down some more. How many miles does it have?

I don't know what color your Sonata is but it seems like you drive a lot. Keep in mind the kind of wear that black will show , rock chips etc.

I think closer to the 24.5k range would be good. Just make sure they aren't adding the "payoff" to your new loan in some mysterious paperwork trickery.

Have them show you the invoice price, $500 under, not another nickel. That's on a no-trade deal.

The Sonata is White... and I live in Texas.. and I drive all round the state..

The Azera has 63 miles & it has the ultimate package as well
What are the other negatives about the black color?
The black color is very nice and the best color I like by far (plus the tinted windows make it look even nicer)... only other colors I would consider is Green Sage, White, and Silver

If you don't wash it correctly you will develop swirls and it will look horrible. The miles aren't bad at all for an 07. If you do buy it find out how long it's been on the lot to see if you should have the fluids changed. It could have been on the lot only a couple months or for almost a year.

Here's a link:

http://www.autobuyguide.com/2007/12-aut/hy...cing/index.html

The invoice price for a particular unit isn't expressed as a spread (27500 - 27900) - it's an actual figure. Don't be taken in or let them steal your trade either.

Live in NC. One black & one pearl white, both over tan interior. The black one was, I don't know, 300 miles or so, but msot of that was from the dealer driving to pick it up and drive it here from another dealer somewhere in the western part of the state. The white one had 500 miles on it, for reasons unknown, since it was on the lot here in Raleigh.

The pearl white one is really pretty but I think my wife's, the black one, looks more elegant, more "premium", for whatever odd emotional reason. Swirl marks are a REAL annoyance. I guess i'll just have to wax & buff after the first year or two - and in 5 years, probably get her a new clear coat. Black demands it.

Holy cow- you win man! Must have driven a heck of a bargain on that deal.

Well, I still think we came away with an excellent deal. This car is just gorgeous and a pleasure to drive. And, oddly, my insurance apparently categorizes it as "Premium" and "High Performance"... probably not ENTIRELY undeserved, although I'm not sure I'd call 265hp FWD V6 high performance. For this car's sporty and elegant look, and feel behind the wheel, I'd pay that price again in a heartbeat.

What's worth it is worth it; you only live once! :460:

It was end of the month, a struggling dealership, a new sales guy, and they had azeras up the wazoo on the lot they wanted gone. I still walked out on the guy a couple times. A process I'd care not to repeat. But hey, it was a decent deal. They've since been bought out and taken over, they dropped the azera entirely. If you want one you have to order it.

Order it from who? You cannot order Hyundai's. I am assuming you mean have them locate one.

For whatever, I purchased a 2007 Limited from Hyundai Motors last week in Atlanta. It had 15,575 miles. Carfax and inspection both showed no damages, no dings, no missed services. Came with the XM radio with the balance of 2008 paid for. Car was white, with gray leather. Purchased for $17,035.

There are deals out there, you just have to know where to look.
