GUYS IM A NOOB,BUT I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF THE TRANSMISION OF A 2001 ACCENT WILL FIT A TIBURON ENGINE.IF SO WHAT MODS DO I HAVE TO DO.thanx

Drives: 2002 Hyundai Accent GS 2.0L
It will fit all you need to do is slot the engine block to make room for the release cylinder for the clutch, use the 2L flywheel and the clutch from the 1.6L Accent. And regardless if the tranny is 1.5L or 1.6L its the same, just the clutch and flywheel is different. Use the starter from the Accent, if not the shifter cables dont fit. I got 2.0L 2004 Elantra motor in my 2002 Accent gs with the Accent tranny.
