I experienced a similar problem recently which turned out to be no fault in the car, just the way it was being treated. If your car won't start for the same reason it would explain the absence of any error codes.
The problem (turning, but not firing) first occurred after several stalls happening just a few minutes after starting (I was teaching my girlfriend manual transmission :whistling: ) so at first I suspected dead battery, but from multiple attempts to start the engine it would occasionally work, which didn't seem like a battery issue to me, so I started looking for another pattern.
Eventually I realised that on the bad starts we were either turning the key too quickly, or turning the key too soon after the stall, either way, the fuel pump wasn't giving the engine it's medicine so to speak.
I now ensure that I turn the key to position 2 long enough to hear the fuel pump do it's job (about a 1 second whirr) before turning the key the final ignition position. If I don't hear the pump come on then I turn the key back to 0 and try again, eventually it will whirr, and it saves the battery & sparks from attempting a lost cause.
The car has never failed to fire since.
It was such a simple solution I felt rather silly, and it sounds from your posts that you do have a more serious issue, but it doesn't cost anything to try so it might be worth a go :)
Good luck!
