Ok, first of all I got my HID kit before knowing it could blind other people.
I removed my HID kit a few days ago, and wow! I can see the cut off line :whistling:.
Well I miss the HID and do not have the money right now to do a full retrofit. So I just researched a little and found out that some persons made glare shield to their bulbs so that it wouldn't blind people. And I tried to make one myself. And this is what happened.
This is the bi-xenon bulb just like you get it. As you can see it has a kind of shield. This helps to prevent glare.
I removed the front end of the bulb's shield (our car's headlights have also something to protect us from seeing the bulb so it doesnt matter that you remove this from the bulb shield. As you can see there is a a rectangular hole in the shield.
Ok I used some aluminum foil to cover that rectangular hole. That hole makes the light go to the bottom part of our reflectors and it causes upper glare.
Ok now that the hole its covered, lets check out the light in a wall.
Ill check just with one headlight on because of time.
Please compare these pictures.
1. Halogen
2. HID without full shield (notice the glare above the "cut off" line)
3. HID with full shield (aluminum covered)

As you can see the HID with full shield and stock halogen pattern looks almost the same. There aren't any hot spots or glare above. And you can see a cut off line. I moved the car while taking the pictures so it is not exactly in the same position, nor the camera, but I tried to place the car and the camera almost in the exact same place.
Im going to black out my headlight housing next spring break and some 4300K HIDs are going to arrive soon. And I want to do this mod along with the new HID kit, but I do not want to blind anyone. (cops do not say sh*t anyway but I know other drivers could be bothered)
Is it right to use aluminum foil? or could it possible be burned? Nothing happened this time and I left the lights on like 6 minutes.
How can I paste the aluminum to the bixenon shield? This time I used the screws of the shield to attach the aluminum to the shield, also folded the aluminum a little bit.
So, what do you think?
I hope you can give me some feedback, I will be thankful.
