o3 accent losing a bit of power accellerating etc...
did spark plugs , nice wires, feul filter, carb clean, cleaned the k&n filter
runs a bit better now...better fuel economy........still knocks a bit tho
What else can I do to boost my acceleration a little? or generally make the car run better!?

also...is there any really good and healthy fuel/oil additives that anyone reccomends? I'm a bit skeptical about this sort of product but i've heard of good experiences as well.
thanks

ya i had that same problem kinda. actually i just wanted more power.

Heres what i got. A ram air intake form ebay. its like 30 dollars shipped. it improved the overall acceleration. Not to mention it sounds really cool.

Ok ya and that might fix ur problem

heres a pic of my car with the air intake.

I have some recommendations for fuel & lube additives...... You don't need em ....... If the oil has run out of guts ..... Its ready for replacing ...... The only fuel additive you should consider is a injector cleaning agent, which is/are a double edged sword....... You add the cleaning agent to breakdown the dirt & release it ...... But once its released...... Where's it gonna go ? .......... Where ever these chunks of grit go its gonna do damage......

So what to do ....... umm ...... :w00t:

If you can hear the engine banging....... Its worn & there's nothing you can do about that other than replace the bits that are worn, however running the thing with decent oil, MIGHT help, but if your at banging stage already I doubt it.

(When you say it knocks ....... Do you mean it makes a sloppy fitting bearing banging noise OR are you talking about Pre-ignition)

When you say "Carb Clean"....... what do you mean exactly ?

how can your car have carberator and fuel filter at the same time? You said carb clean so I assumed you meant you cleaned the carberator. Right?

Also what do you mean by cleaned K&N filter? If you mean the air filter, why don't you just buy a new one, it is 5 bucks in Walmart.

Can someone care to elaborate?
