I have only the photos to go by, so it's hard to tell. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks. Newbie Group: Members Posts: 2 Joined: 28-February 08 Member No.: 41,846 Status: Location: Canada Drives: n/a	I did more research and from what I can tell, the DOHC 16v is only used in the 4 cylinder and all the V6 models are DOHC 24v. Can anyone confirm this? Thanks.

If there are 4 valves per cylinder then 16/4 = 4. Therefor it's a 4 cylinder. Yes, that is the DOHC CVVT 4-cylinder Beta II engine. Newbie Group: Members Posts: 2 Joined: 13-March 08 Member No.: 42,486 Status: Location: Pennsylvania Drives: 2007 Hyundai Tiburon GT 2.7 5spd	that is a 4 cyl. the v6 uses 24 valves and takes up alot more room.
