Has anyone bought a HID kit for their Accent?

If so what bulb did you get? I heard the H4 causes problems with the install.

I was thinking a 9000K. I found a site that has the conversion kit for $251, is this considered a good deal or not?

Thanks!

H4 is the type of bulb. Make sure you get bi-xenon for low and high beam in xenon or low beam in xenon and high beam in halogen.

9000K is the color temperature.

4300K is the BRIGHTEST and it is white
6000K white with a hint of blue/purple
8000K blue with a hint of white
10000K blue
12000K purple

The more K the less light. I would not recommend anything higher than 6000K. If you want the best light output go 4300K.

Check ebay for better prices, you should get the bixenon for no more than $170 with included shipping, or the low xenon high halogen for no more than $130. Good luck.

Alright if anyone else cares...

I am going to get 6000K Apexcone HID Kit comes with a lifetime warranty! Not bad for $200 and I'm going to get it with the H4 since H4=9003=HB2 which is in my current headlight.

Then I am going to pick up a set of Hella Angel Eye fogs.

200 is a lot considering i spent 73 and couldnt have been more happy,

but if it's a good brand with a good warranty i guess why not, sadly the lights will outlast the car.

Nice choice for the fog lights. I also have Hella Optilux 2500 and its cool! This is one of the auto parts that steal the over-all look of my ride
