Hi...Hope somebody can help me, please..I need to repair or replace 2 parts underneath a 95 scoupe...someone called them control arms..but after checking places, they don't look like what I need. There are 2 metal pieces, running front to back, parallel but on each side..they have some badly rusted areas which I want to repair or replace. I believe running against one is the gas line...if anyone can help me..I would really appreciate it. Thank you.

Drives: Modified (180 b.h.p.) `95 Hyundai S-Coupe Turbo SE ....Sadly now sold & replaced with an `04 Alfa Romeo 156 2-litre Veloce! :-http://aol.photobox.co.uk/album/thumbnails.html?c_album=7089276&page=all

Those 2 front-to-back stiffeners are integral with the car`s floorpan (i.e. platform or chassis).

Corrosion here is an automatic inspection-failure!.
Whilst welding/fabrication with new steel is possible, it is likely to be very expensive & is a `workshop-special`, as you cannot simply order the parts from Hyundai!.

Nick.

Thanks for the replies...I found a welder that thinks he can do the job...and my mechanic tells me that as long as the integrity is the same as it was originally, all should be ok...just don't want to sink a lot of money in it..tho, I do love driving it..and paid very little..so, I will have to do some serious thinking before much longer.
