Hey Guys,
Just bought my new Hyundai Elantra GLS yesterday, drives smooth, love it. My Elantra has a Aux input jack for a IPOD. Can someone give more information on where to buy this input jack?

Thanks!

Just go to any department store & look for an 1/8" to 1/8" mini-plug cable. I just bought a goosneck mount from Griffen. It plugs into the cigarette lighter jack, so it charges your Ipod & has a connector at the base so there isn't a cable connected to your ipod.

Here is the link for the product which I highly recommend

"staylor", How is that product different than this one http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000FMSY74.

I know it can charge but in terms of quality, do you know the difference? because this one is way cheaper.

Thanks.

I know this is an old thread, but in case you hadn't found a solution yet I thought I'd reply.

It looks like the cable you found on amazon is just an audio cable that plugs in via the ipod's usb/charger/etc jack (3.5mm) vs the ipod's 'headphone jack'. I use a 1/8" to 1/8" stereo audio cable, and it works fine... and cost about $3. Plus it will work with any device with a headphone jack.

That being said, I'm now looking into replacing the stereo with a Hyundai Kenwood model that offers full ipod integration in the stereo, including track names. But that's like $500 away haha.

Sorry, I haven't replied until now. I know that the goosneck is pricey but I was looking for a mounting solution for my Ipod & since I use it everyday I found it worth the price. The cable from Amazon may be the right solution for You. I just find the goosneck puts the Ipod at a nice operating position.
