Hi there. Hope someone can help. Have a 2000 Amica SI with an intermittent fault. Car will be fine for weeks and then overnight the battery will completely discharge as if there is a short. Nothing left on, not lights , interior lights ,ignition, radio. Everything checked as off. No warning lights when engine running like alternator fault...nothing. Has anyone had this same problem. Only thing I have noticed is that when this happens and all the current has drained from the battery overnight, when i use my jump leads from another car there is a spark at the battery terminals as if something is on. But listen.... when I open the doors to double check everything is off and no lights are on anywhere before i try and start it, if I go back to the battery the sparking at the terminals has stopped if I remove and replace the jump leads. I know this is very odd and its doing my head in. Anyone had similar problems? Would really appreciate your feedback and thoughts. Just might be something I've not thought of. Cheers.
