Drives: 2001 Hyundai XG-300L
Has anyone had to have struts replaced on their XG300L? Mine is a 2001, and I just paid a ridiculous price to have all 4 replaced. The price the dealer wanted was even more ridiculous. Now that I've gotten them replaced, the ride is sweet, but I'm thinking the noise I was hearing wasn't struts at all, maybe bushings or something else.

you may well be right, XG's do sometimes suffer from the top suspension mounting bushes wearing and causing a 'thump' l had to replace one of mine even at quite low mileage
