Thanks everyone....I believe I am now pretty happy with the DCR-I had to second guess about something :)
Tint this weekend...
Thanks for the pics.
PS Yes the DCR is "metallic" in the sun.

QUOTE(Tommer @ Feb 14 2008, 11:21 AM) The background makes me jealous. No leaves on our trees for another 2 months, at least. :( Yah its green all ear round. Only a few trees ever loose color. The down side is that it is HOT AND HUMID all year too.

Well....you are not going to believe this (my initial foray into Hyundai has not started off smoothly!) My drivers side power seat is stuck at fully reclined!!! Back adjustment only worked in reverse until it is now fully reclined. I have had the car a week! (although I did decide I liked the DCR :) )
I like the car's power and it is fun to drive, more fun than the Mazda6S or the VW.(But I had 0 problems with those two cars) Hopefully it is just a freak thing not a sign of things to come.

I knew someone would comment on that. I went to a car wash and when I got back in the car the back adjustment would not work forward and as I kept fiddling with it it went farther and farther back...then I thought if I went all the way back maybe it would reset somehow...alas No!

I bought a DCR one with black leather. I also had the windows tined. I think it is a great looking and elegant color. It really does change depending on the sun.
I am really loving this car.

QUOTE(babstude @ May 12 2008, 10:07 AM) psst it's "colour" ... we don't dumb down the language as much as our neighbours do :whistling:  the dark cherry is beautiful but decided to go for a light colour this go round as the dark(s) are such a beyotch to keep clean ... Bah, I spell Emerikan when I'm on an American forum. Wouldn't want to confuse anyone and make them cheque my spelling of colour.

" I might get the raised eyebrow ? a what and a who and a where ??

..... hey I got one too. Its Dark Cherry Red with a Black/Beige (Camel) interior. Looks awesome.
and before this one I had a '92 Nissan 240 SX (Red), '92 Toyota Camry (Burgundy) and a '00 Toyota Camry (Burgundy) ........ so u can see I'm biased towards the color :)
Now I have an '02 Toyota Camry which is Beige with Tan interior (the price was too good and I need a car asap. No Red ones were available immediately) and the '09 Sonata. I have always held that the lines on the car, the shape and the color (when its clean and waxed) looks best in Red (Darker shades though).
Looking for splash pads for the car. Its gets dirty real quick and I live across the street from a car wash!
 MSKhan

(and depends on where you go down here into the 'States as to what they will understand and what they wont... go to Buffalo or Rochester and ask for a "pop" and they will know exactly what you mean...) either that or they will mutter under their breath "d*mn canucks"

Funny enough, I use Soda instead of pop. Have for as long as I can remember.
When I was in Chicago waitresses loooved to hear me say aboot and roof. So of course, when I was at hooters I certainly obliged them. Hooters of Rockford has the best hooter girls I have seen in my travels. (Tampa/st.petes, minnesota, chicago/schaumburg, rockford, seattle, los angeles, San diego and a few others)
