Well I suppose it will work ........ If you can find the socket to plug it in to ....... I have a code reader my self, however I have no idea where the socket is or what it looks like ....... All new cars from 2001 in the UK are supposed to have OBDII software installed & it should be accessible by a Data link Connector....... Quite when in 2001 this was all supposed to come in to force "I have no idea" I have never had any problems with any other car I've played with ............ Std Hyundai Procedure I guess

Hyundai software is known well for being pretty flaky, but I guess ya get less than ya pay for ;)

Isn't the 1.5 engine covered in the Hyundai service site ? that will tell you where things are.

I've never seen a 1.5 to my knowledge ...... but it will have some vacuum circuit piping, which should of been checked, perhaps a PCV valve "Positive Crankcase Ventilation" valve which will need looking at, all the electric plug-ins need looking @ a wd40 squirting on the inside & out. HT leads, you checked them ?

You can fix this using the chequebook method...... But it will get expensive..... No idea where Our Accent is ...... It was supposed to come home last night & didn't turn up ......... Hopefully I will never see it again :P

I'm just not that lucky tho :(

Well I have changed my Crank Position Sensor (Well I got someone who had a microscopic socket set to do it) & it still stalls ...... In-fact ...... Things are getting really weird now..... It seemed worse ...... Started running like it was on three cyls intermittently ....... So I unplugged the Cam sensor just to see what happened ....... & it ran fine for quite a bit :o But then the engine light came on ..... Kinda expected really ....... So I plugged the Cam sensor back in ....... & after a while the light went off & the car still seems to run ok tho ...... Which is spooky....... So now I gotta admit I ain't got a freakin clue what's up with it, but I'll send to Korea for a new Cam sensor & see what that does ...... If anyone has any ideas ..... Umm Post em :57:
