 Stereo Cable - No Power

hi all,
just a bit help required, i have an amica 2002, which i am trying to fit a stereo, with alot of difficulties.. i have noticed that the power cable has no power coming from it... i have checked the fuse box. and that seems to be normal. it did not have a stereo fitted when i brought it.. any help would be appreciated
