Hi

I own a 2003 Hyundai Accent and all of a sudden couple of weeks ago an annoying "bing, bing, bing" (constant) alarm goes off whenever I open the drivers side door. I'm not sure why it has only just started after 4 years. How do I turn it off?!

that should only happen if your keys are in the ignition or your lights are on

It's the same noise - but no my lights aren't on and it happens when the keys aren't in the ingnition.

Sometimes mine will continue to ding after I pull the keys out. Maybe a switch inside where the key goes is sticking....

Pretty sure you can disable this door alarm...
Its located under the dash...
Wait till its going off then look for it, unplug it...
