I searched ebay a bit and came across different dump valves..
Bailey DV30, DV36, DV26 etc...
Link: Ebay link
Which one is the best for the T15 and food for future upgrades to a T25/T28?
Also, which one has a nice loud whistle/pshhhhhhh sound (lol)

Another vent-to-atmosphere bov: Ebay link

Any other recommendations, please post info/link here..

I've got a bailey DV26 I believe.
It vents to the atmosphere. Sounds good.

The best one to get is a recirculating BOV i think this is the DV30 from Bailey.

It will help the turbo keep spinning as you accelerate and if you plan to put on a larger Turbo, this is a must.

And sounds really awesome, much better than basic dump valve.

A diverter valve is the same as a bov, right?

Should I get a Bailey DV30 diverter valve?

Yeah the ones pictured above (Bailey DV30) are "Recirc" valves and are best for Turbo Performance, Spooling etc.

Otherwise go for the DV26 like mine. It works well and makes the cool "hissing" noise.

Have fun fitting it, you'll ned to fix a fitment to the inlet piping. I used a metal drill bit, and some bonding substance from Halfords. Never had any problems since.

See my Garge > modifications pics top see my set up.

Bailey are by far the best for BOVs. Good Value too.

In the U.K., really only the re-circulating Bailey DV30....vented boost goes back into the intake pipe just before the turbo.... (some plumbing required & fairly silent)......or the twin piston Bailey DV26 (quite noisy but easily fitted) are options.

The former is the best option for serious performance tuners, whilst the latter is for attention-seekers!!.

Any BOV`s which vent-to-atmosphere & don`t have twin pistons will render your car un-driveable!.

Nick.

Hi!

The re-cycled blow-off air from a re-circulating dump valve is piped back into the air intake pipe........after the MAF & before the turbo.

I fitted mine about half-way by making a series of slits with a scalpel like this * & pushed the ventpipe through into the large intake pipe about 3/4" & sealed the joint with black silicone mastic.

Cheers,
Nick. :)

You don't nesseccerily have to have a twin piston dump valve, you only have to have one which "holds itself shut at idle" which technically means under vacuum...but hey, who am i to question????

The Blitz Supersound or HKS SSQV are the two stupidly loud options for the vent to atmosphere DVs. If you wanna go fast then don't buy one, more weight, and they dont really do anything until you run hurrendous amounts of boost!

Those Bliz and HKS -things are just showing off and nothing more.

Pretty expensive are those too for just a stupid valve. Pretty laughable.
