I have a 2006 Atos Prime GLS manual that has run flawlessly for about 14000Kms. At this point it started idling eradic. What I observed is that it will idle fine, and suddenly the revs will drop for a fraction of a second and stabilize again.

At just under 15000Kms the same behaviour became noticeable when driving. Doing any speed from about 60km/h to 120km/h makes no difference. All seems fine, and the next moment the motor start jerking once or twice. Sometimes it will just recover and go on, and sometimes it will struggle to pick up rpms. On two or three occasions the motor has cut out completely, and I had to restart....

At the 15K service I told the agents, and when I got the car back, they told me bad spark plugs caused it and it is now fixed. After driving less tha 20kms the jerking started. I decided to take the car to a second dealer at around 16000kms, as this was getting really irritating.

This dealer said it is the aircon, an 1100cc motor with an aircon is a bad idea, and switching off the AC will solve my problem. After serious explanation, the decided to take it in. Their answer was new plugs and HT plug wires. Same story, only a couple of streets away, and the problem is still there... I am now on 22000kms and it has not outgrown this issue!

Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated! I Am desperate!
