When builing the car on the HyundaiUSA web site they list 2 different options for an air conditioner "kit".

Air conditioner kit $ 95
Air conditioner kit $ 325

Does anyone know what these are?

Incidentally, I called Hyundai and asked. The girl on the phone put me on hold for a few minutes and still was unable to tell me. She said she would call me back. That was probably about 3 1/2 hours ago.

It might be one option for standard air conditioning and another for the auto climate control

These are flat out errors.

The price tags are correct, but neither is for an air conditioning related item. The $95 one is for the Auxiliary Audio Input (a mini-jack that goes in the compartment just below the A/C controls and interfaces to the radio via an FM modulator.

The second ($325) is for the long promised Bluetooth option, which purportedly installs where the sunglass holder is. It is rumored to be a Johnson Controls Inc. (JCI)BlueConnect handsfree speakerphone.

You are correct on both accounts. However the auxillary input is for an IPOD/MP# player, etc.

Picking up my new Veracruz on Friday with both options and the DVD player. Opted to buy a portible Nav instead of the built-in option.

I will post again and provide feedback on the vehicle.
