Hi All
As we only ahve the trajet in the uk which is no longer sold i was woundering what the kia sedona is like which as you know is the same as the entourage in the states.

What are they like to drive iam looking at the 2.9 diesel and there are only 3 models to choose from .

The basic is the GS, middle is the LS and top of the range is the TS , (best going to www.kia.co.uk to find out the specs.

Many thanks
Andrew

We like ours a lot and can't believe that we are 2 thirds into our 3 year lease already. We looked at the Kia and chose the Hyundai mainly because of brand reputation (we had owned several other Hyundais) On closer inspection the entourage is a sedona with different trim since they come of the same assembly line and many of the parts are marked Kia.

The Entourage is selling poorly here while the Sedona is making good numbers.

I can't vouch for the diesel since we only get the 3.8L gas engine as an option for both models. Kia does sell the shorter version the UK gets here but it is very rare as most people like the seats that fold flat into the floor and larger cargo area.

This is the only other Entourage/Sedona owners resource I know of online.

Have you looked at the Kia Rondo (Called Carens) on your side of the pond? They have really caught my eye lately as a replacement for my Elantra. I'm not sure if it would fit your needs though as IIRC you are disabled. (I hope I don't have you confused with another user)

Nope you got the right user , as we have the sedona over here but the carens is to small in the boot as my scooter is 48 inches long and that manages to go into my trajet at an angle of 2 oclock and 8 oclock .

Since iam disabled , in the uk we have a scheme called motability and i would like to get the grand voyager or i think you guys all it the town and country , but as the deposit is around 8,600 pounds thats very high and as iam getting a grant off them (motability) they will only pay for the least expensive car and then you need to add £1500 for the hoist , cheapest car is the ford galaxy 2ltr auto zetec , then the sedona LS then the galaxy ghia .

Sounds confusing but bottom line its a toss up between these to cars .

IMO The Sedona looks better than the Entourage. The Entourage has the nicer luxury styling, while the Kia Sedona has the sportier side.

There's another entourage forum on carspace.com that's more heavily posted than this one FWIW. :)
