As much as I HATE buying products that carry the "Made in China" sticker (which is a REAL challenge these days...), I'd say the problem is not that they steal the design, since they ALL steal from each other (some of the new upscale Lexus cars look EXACTLY like BMWs...), the BIG question is what kind of QUALITY hides under the hood.....

After all, the new Hyundai Veracruz looks exactly like a Lexus RX.... But it's not a CHEAP imitation, at least.

Well, tell ya what, Goldy, I own BOTH, and my '05 Accord is a top of the line V6, and I can assure you I feel NOTHING inferior driving my (I-4, mind you) Sonata.... Actually we had MORE issues with the Accord (minor, though) than with the Sonata....

...But that's you, Gold, ever whining like an old lady.

I wouldnt buy a chinese car until after they get established in the next 20 years or something but even then I would be cautious. But by then I will most likely move upmarket to a mid range german car like Mercedes E class
